For over three decades, I produced and recorded live and studio projects—independently, at KRVS, and through Worrytime Studios—in collaboration with artists across South Louisiana.
Using limited-fidelity machines presented inherent challenges, but also yielded beauty and character. The focus at all-analog Worrytime was not perfection or the pursuit of style over substance, but rather on presenting things as they were with warmth and intimacy. My approach kept things honest and immediate.
You can listen to a selection of recordings produced at Worrytime Studios in this Soundcloud playlist.
Since 2012, I’ve worked with a diverse roster of artists, producing records by Dickie Landry, Louis Michot, Julie Odell, Sarah Burke, Tasche & The Angels, Christiaan Mader of Brass Bed, Carbon Poppies, Rad Wagon, Early Day Miners, Dustin Gaspard, Mackenzie Bourg, Blayze Viator, Renée Reed, and Kleaner, just to name a few.
Here is a compilation (also on Bandcamp) of tunes I co-produced over the years with a host of collaborators, including Chad Viator, Justin Tockett, and Arron Thomas.
